 Grown  In south China.
 Source  The ripe fruit of Poncirus trifolia(L.) Raf., Citrus aurantium L., or C. wilsonii Tanaka and its family.
 Ingredients  Hesperidin, Neohesperidin, Auraptenol, ?-Carotene, l-Carotene, Citraurin
 Pharma Effect  1) Effect on intestines: the extract has an inhibitory effect on the peristalsis of rabbits. It also constrains the contraction of intestine induced by acetylcholine and histamine. 2) Chemical examination: take 0.5g herb powder, mixed with 10 ml methanol,
 Properties  Bitter, acrid, sour, warm
 Channels  Spleen, stomach
 Function  Breaks up stagnant qi, reduces epigastric accumulation and transforms phlegm.
 Clinic Usage  For phlegm clogging the chest and diaphragm, stagnant food lodging in the upper epigastrium, vomiting, upset stomach, dysenteric disorder, hiccough and regurgitation caused by cold injury and prolapse of the rectum.
 Cautions  Use with caution in cases of pregnancy or weak stomach and intestines.
 Dosage  3~9g
 Storage  Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid dampness. Protect from worm infestation.
