 Source  The dried capitulum of Inula britannica L. var. chinensis(Rupr.)Rege.
 Ingredients  Quercetin, Chlorogenic acid, sesquiterpenes, Gaillardin
 Pharma Effect  
 Properties  Bitter, acrid, salty, slightly warm
 Channels  Lung, spleen, stomach, large intestine
 Function  Transforms phlegm, directs qi downward, softens hardness, relieves distention and fullness, diuretic, may be used as an anti-inflammatory agent.
 Clinic Usage  For coughing, wheezing, thick, turbid saliva, a sensation of distention in the rib cage region, obstructing lung qi, belching, and watery, distended abdomen.
 Cautions  
 Dosage  3~9g. Place in a cheesecloth bag before decocting.
 Storage  Store in a dry place. Avoid dampness and crush.
