 Source  The dried root of Cyperus rotundus L.
 Ingredients  cyperene I,II, cyperol, isocyperol, ?-cyperone, ?-cyperone, cyperolone, cyperotundone
 Pharma Effect  Effect on uterus: the herb extract has a contraction effect on the uterus of mouse, rabbit, cat and dog.
 Properties  Acrid, slightly bitter, slightly sweet, neutral
 Channels  Liver, spleen, triple burners
 Function  Regulates qi, releases constraints, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
 Clinic Usage  For constrained liver qi with distended, full chest and rib cage, qi obstruction in the kidney or leg, irregular menstruation, alternating fever and chills, carbuncles and painful skin lesions.
 Cautions  Contraindicated in cases of qi deficiency without stagnation, and yin deficiency with heat in the blood.
 Dosage  6~9g
 Storage  Store in a cool, tightly sealed container.
