 Source  Dried, ripe seed of Cuscuta chinensis Lam.
 Ingredients  Cholesterol, Campesterol
 Pharma Effect  
 Properties  Sweet, warm
 Channels  Liver, kidney, spleen
 Function  Tones kidney and liver, nourishes marrow, warms but without drying the internals, will not nurture the "ministerial fire" and improves vision.
 Clinic Usage  For soreness in the lower back and knees, nocturnal emission, thirst, urinary incontinence, dizziness, tinnitus, and neurasthenia.
 Cautions  This is a nourishing herb with emphasis in nurturing yang. Contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency with strong fire signs, constipation or with dark, scanty urination.
 Dosage  6~12g. Proper amount for external use.
 Storage  Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
