Properties	Sweet, slightly warm
Channels	Liver, kidney
Function	Tones marrow, nourishes liver, improves hearing and eyesight, darkens beard and hair. This is one effective nourishing and strengthening herb.
Clinic Usage	Tones fluid in kidney, nourishes yin and marrow, stimulates blood generation. Can also treat irregular menstruation, deafness and blurred vision.
Cautions	Contraindicted in cases of copious sputum due to stagnant qi, distended epigastrium and abdomen, loose stool in spite of spare in food intake.
