Ingredients
Pharma Effect	Oral ingestion or injection of the herbal extract may stimulate saliva secretion in rabbits.
Properties	Bitter, cold
Channels	Lungs, liver
Function	Clears heat, relieves toxicity, dissipates blood stasis, removes phlegm and soothes throat.
Clinic Usage	For swollen, painful throat, coughing with negative qi moving upward, blockage of phlegm, malaria with splenomegaly, carbuncles, ulcers and toxic swellings.
Cautions	Do not use in cases of spleen deficiency, loose stool or without excessive fire symptoms. Also contraindicated during pregnancy.
Dosage	3~9g.
Storage	Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
