 Source  The dried pollen of Typha angustifolia L. and its family.
 Ingredients  Rhamnose, Xylose, Oligosaccharide
 Pharma Effect  1) Stops bleeding. Prevents platelet aggregation. 2) Has vasodilating effect, lowers blood pressure, prevents myocardial ischemia and arteriosclerosis. 3) Enforces uterine contraction. Also has antiviral and analgesic effects.
 Properties  Sweet, neutral
 Channels  Liver, heart
 Function  Use in raw form to dispel stasis and promote urination. Parching herb with charcoal helps arrest secretion and control bleeding.
 Clinic Usage  Use in raw form for amenorrhea, postpartum painful stasis, bloody discharge, urination difficulties, traumatic wounds, carbuncles and swellings. Use with decoctions for heavy or incessant bloody discharge, vaginal discharge, all bleeding symptoms, serious
