Source	Dried bark of Phellodendron amurense Rupr.
Ingredients	Berberine, Palmatine, Magnoflorine, Phellodenfrine, Obacunone
Pharma Effect	1) Anti-microbial effect: has inhibiting effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus dysenteriae, choleragen and gonococcus. 2) Effect on blood pressure: intravenous or intraperitoneal injection to anesthetized animals resulted in obvious and lasting effect

Function	Clears heat, dries dampness, drains fire, relieves toxicity and reduces fever due to qi deficiency.
