 Source  Dried root of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels.
 Ingredients  n-Valerophenone-O-Carboxylic acid, 2,4-Dihydrophthalic anhydride
 Pharma Effect  The herbal extract inhibits assembling of thrombocytes in mice.
 Properties  Sweet, acrid, warm
 Channels  Liver, heart, spleen
 Function  Tones and regulates blood, stimulates blood circulation, regulates menstruation, alleviates pain, moistens dryness and stimulates bowel movements.
 Clinic Usage  For irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, abdominal pain, mass in the abdomen, heavy or incessant vaginal discharge, pain due to blood deficiency and dizziness. Use with Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae(gui zhi), Radix Angelicae Pubescentis(du huo), Ramulus Sanjis
 Cautions  Contraindicated in cases of a sense of fullness in the middle burner due to excessive dampness, and loose stool or diarrhea.
 Dosage  6~12g
 Storage  Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid dampness and infestation by worms.
