 Grown  In Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei, Henan, Liaoning and Sichuan area of China.
 Source  The dried root of Angelica dahurica (Fisch. ex Hoffm.) Benth. et Hook. f. and its family.
 Ingredients  Angelicol, Marmesin, Angelicol and Furocoumarin derivatives.
 Pharma Effect  1) Analgesic effect: oral ingestion of 8g to 16g of preparations of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae(bai zhi) effectively alleviated artificially induced pain in small mice. 2) Temperature regulation effect: intake of 15g of herb decoction has an obvious antipyr
 Properties  Acrid, warm.
 Channels  Stomach, large intestine, lung.
 Function  Treats various pain and ache in head and face, expels wind, reduces swelling, expels pus and alleviates pain.
 Clinic Usage  For headache, supraorbital pain, toothache, nasal congestion, abdominal pain due to dampness, blood stool due to intestine wind, bleeding hemorrhoid, vaginal discharge with ulcerated sore, dry, itchy skin and scabies.
 Cautions  Contraindicated in cases of blood or yin deficiency.
 Dosage  3~9g
 Storage  Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from worm infestation.
