Properties	Bitter, slightly cold
Channels	Heart, stomach
Function	Clears heat, relieves toxicity, dissipates clumps, generates tissue and alleviates pain.
Clinic Usage	For carbuncles, swellings, furuncles, scrofula, burns, pyrexial malaria, convulsions, dysentery with bloody stool, hematochezia and bleeding hemorrhoids.
Cautions	Contraindicated in cases of cold deficiency in stomach and spleen or without excessive fire symptoms.
Dosage	For external use, smash the herb then apply proper amount to wounds or rinse wounds with decoctions.
Storage	Store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from mold and worm infestation.
