Properties	Sweet, cold
Channels	Lung, heart
Function	Clears heat, tranquilizes, moistens lung, alleviates coughing, and nourishes the middle and qi.
Clinic Usage	For coughing due to heat in lung, blood expectoration due to lung disease, pulmonary abscess, post-typhoid fever lily disease, irritability, palpitation, neurasthenia, beriberi, carbuncles on the back, ulcers and swellings.
Cautions	Contraindicated in cases of coughing due to wind-cold and loose stool due to cold in the middle burner.
Dosage	6~12g
Storage	Store in a dry place. Avoid dampness.
