Properties	Bitter, salty, cold
Channels	Lung, kidney, stomach
Function	Clears heat, dispels dampness, transforms phlegm and disperses accumulated pathogenic masses.
Clinic Usage	For coughing due to phlegm-fire, deficient qi, edema, turbid nocturnal emission, goiter, eczema and burns.
Cautions	Reduce the dosage in cases of stomach and spleen deficiency with cold. Otherwise stomach or spleen strengthening medicine should be taken.
Dosage	6~15g. Roast first for better result. To take in powdered form, place in a cheesecloth bag before decocting. To use externally, place powders in a cloth or mix in oil then apply to wounds.
Storage	Store in a dry place.
