Pharma Effect	Has antiseptic and anti-schistosomal properties.
Properties	Acrid, warm, toxic
Channels	Liver, large intestine
Function	Dries dampness, dispels wind, as a pesticide and relieves toxicity.
Clinic Usage	For irritability due to heat, malignant boil, carbuncles, hemorrhoids, necrotic muscular tissue, scabies with worms, convulsions due to phlegm accumulation, malaria due to summer heat and perforated scrofula with fistula.
Cautions	Contraindicated during pregnancy or in cases of yin and blood deficiency.
Dosage	0.05~0.1g. Use in powders and pills. Use externally, apply proper amount to wounds.
Storage	Store in a dry place. Keep tightly sealed.
