Properties	Salty, cold
Channels	Liver, heart
Function	Calms liver, extinguishes wind, clears heat, arrests convulsions, removes blood stasis and relieves toxicity.
Clinic Usage	For impaired consciousness and convulsions due to warm-febrile disease, delirium, headache, dizziness, convulsions, red eyes and blurred vision.
Cautions	Contraindicated for patients without liver heat symptoms or symptoms not caused by the heat toxin of febrile disease.
Dosage	1~3g if used in decoctions. Decoction should be cooked at least 2 hours. Use in juice or powders, 0.3~0.6g per dosage.
Storage	Store in a clean, dry place. Protect from worm infestation.
