Pharma Effect
Properties	Acrid, bitter, slightly cold
Channels	Spleen, heart, lungs
Function	Opens orifices aromatically, dispels stagnant heat, improves vision, reduces swelling and relieves pain.
Clinic Usage	For convulsions due to phlegm blockage, pain in the limbs and joints, red eyes, skin lesions, throat inflammation, tooth ache, headache, nasal polyp, burns and hemorrhoids.
Cautions	Contraindicated for qi or blood deficiency. Also contraindicated during pregnancy.
Dosage	0.15~0.3g. Generally in pills and powders. To use externally, apply powder to wounds.
Storage	Keep tightly sealed. Store in a cool, dry place.
