Pharma Effect
Properties	Sweet, slightly bitter, neutral
Channels	Spleen, lung
Function	Strengthens spleen, promotes qi, and generates saliva. (It is not as effective as dang shen in strengthening stomach and spleen, but more effective in saliva generation.)
Clinic Usage	For coughing due to lung deficiency, diarrhea due to spleen deficiency, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, lack of appetite and thirst after a warm-febrile disease.
Cautions
Dosage	9~30g
Storage	Store in a lime pot. Avoid mold and infestation by worms.
