Source	The dried rhizome and root of Ligusticum sinensis Oliv. and its family.
Ingredients	3-Butylphthalide, Cnidilide, Meth-yleugenol, Coumarins, Bergapten, Benza-ldehyde derivatives, Vanillin, Myristicin aldehyde, Benzoic acid derivatives, Phenylpropanoids, Ferulyaldehyde.
Pharma Effect	The naphtha in this herb has the effect of expanding blood vessel, inducing sweating and regulating body temperature.

Function	Expels wind and cold, dispels dampness and alleviates pain.
Clinic Usage	For externally contracted wind-cold and pain at the vertex. Effectively relieves pain for wind-cold influenza, headache and rheumatic arthritis.
Cautions	Contraindicated in cases of blood or yin deficiency.
